Pet Portrait for a Friend

Here it is.. a cat named Rudy with recycled mosaics for a birthday present! I liked the texture of the glaze for the fur and the luminousity of the stained glass background. I wasn't sure if the two textures would work, but it seems to add some depth with a difference in foreground and background. Rudy reminded me of a British wildcat, so I had to have the background wild and jungle-like.
