Chrissy finds this process mesmerising as she weaves and deepens each line onto a glass plate. These create a 3-dimensional effect with black on the front and the colours on the back. This is an appealing through a portal of light in a matrix. Both mosaics and sgraffito convey the complex arrangement of particles in life forms and environments. This work is about flow, and how the elements go
There's wind and water rising and we sometimes wonder why
There's the earth and the trees and the feel of the leaves
And when we feel present, it becomes something pleasant
Then there's the fire engine of the sun, and that helps us to run
And don't forget all the stars, they hold magic from afar
All the planets are in rhythm, it's a circus while moving in them
Everything is swirly, everything is hurly-burly
Everything has a spell, everything can jump down a well
Everything has its place, everything has it's space
Everything is a living creature, everything has all of these features
These are the elements in this story, and once you reach this, life's full of glory
